1. Overview

MetaGuard Pro ("App", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data when you use our App.

2. Core Privacy Commitment

        MetaGuard Pro does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

        All photo processing occurs 100% locally on your device.

No uploads: Your photos and metadata never leave your device.
No analytics: We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Appsflyer, or any third-party tracking SDK.
No profiling: We do not build user profiles or behavioral models.
No servers: No data is sent to our servers or any third-party servers.
No ads tracking: We do not use ad networks or serve targeted ads.

3. Data and Permissions

Photo Library Access: MetaGuard Pro requests permission to access your Photo Library solely to allow you to select and process images locally on your device. This permission is used only when you explicitly:

Tap to browse photos in the app
Select photos to process
Use the Share Extension to clean photos from the Photos app

Your photos and associated metadata are processed entirely within the app's sandbox and are never shared with any third party or uploaded to any remote server.

4. What We Don't Collect

The following are explicitly NOT collected by MetaGuard Pro:

✗ Your name, email, or contact information
✗ Your location or GPS coordinates
✗ Device identification (IDFA, UUID, hardware serial)
✗ Usage patterns or app behavior data
✗ Crash reports or diagnostic logs (without your explicit manual opt-in)
✗ Health and fitness data
✗ Financial or payment information (Apple handles payment)
✗ Biometric data (Face ID, Touch ID)

5. Temporary Storage

When processing photos, MetaGuard Pro temporarily stores image data in the app's cache or temporary directory. This data:

Is deleted immediately after processing
Is never archived or backed up
Is only accessible within the app's sandbox
Is never accessed by other apps or cloud services

6. Payment & Subscription

MetaGuard Pro is distributed as a Paid Download on the App Store:

You pay once at purchase ($2.99)
You get full access to all features immediately
No recurring charges or subscriptions
No in-app purchases
No free trial or trial period

Payment is processed by Apple. We do not receive your credit card or payment information.

7. Third-Party Services

MetaGuard Pro is built with no third-party SDKs or frameworks that collect data:

SquareOne: Navigation helper (local only, no tracking)

All other dependencies are open-source and used for core functionality (UI, image processing) without telemetry.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Since we don't collect personal data, there's nothing to:

Request or download
Correct or modify
Delete (your local photos remain yours)
Object to processing

However, you retain full control over:

Which photos you process in the app
Whether to grant Photo Library access
Whether to use the Share Extension
Deleting the app entirely

9. GDPR & CCPA Compliance

GDPR (EU/EEA) & CCPA (California): Since MetaGuard Pro collects no personal data, GDPR and CCPA requirements do not apply. There is no:

Personal data processing requiring consent
Data profiling or automated decision-making
International data transfers
Data retention policies (we retain nothing)

10. Children's Privacy

MetaGuard Pro does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR). Because the app collects no personal data whatsoever, it is suitable for users of all ages.

11. Security

Although MetaGuard Pro stores no personal data remotely, we take local security seriously:

All processing occurs within the app's secure iOS sandbox
Temporary files are encrypted in memory and securely deleted after processing
No credentials or authentication data are stored locally
The app is built with Swift 6 strict concurrency to prevent data races

12. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Since we collect no data, significant policy changes are unlikely.

14. Offline Guarantee

MetaGuard Pro works entirely offline. To ensure this:

Enable Airplane Mode in iOS Settings
Use MetaGuard Pro—all features function normally
Disable Airplane Mode afterward

If any feature fails in Airplane Mode, it's a bug, not intentional behavior for monetization.
